I know, I know...MFF was two weeks ago. So what lame excuse to have for taking so long time?? I've been being lazy?

Ok, well, besides that....here MFF for me:


On Friday,  RhubarbTheBear & I got on the road alittle after 8. Which is amazing!! (Rhu's not the early bird that I am) We were driving & making GREAT time...and then...WHAM!!!! Road construction, about an hour & half from the con...no worries, just delay a bit, no biggie....right. Having stopped for the construction, all the sudden Rhu's car wouldn't go into gear. So we had the joy (sarcastic tone there), of sitting on the side of the road for a couple of hours. First, waiting for the Illinois Highway Police & then a tow truck. During this lovely delemia, we're trying to figure out: 1) How are we going to get to the con?
2) Can it be fixed on a Saturday?
3) Will we EVEN get to the con?
4)WHY IS THIS HAPPENING!!?!??!?!?

After many text messages & phone calls: 1) We were rescued to the "Max"!!  maxgoof came in one car for Rhu & me. And  Maximus-Ursus &  LoneWolfRaven came in another car to haul all our stuff!! I was SOOOOO glad to see them all again, but seeing them go the extra miles for us...I just love them all even more!!!

2) The car was not able to be fixed until Monday.

3) We did make it the con on Friday. But got there 15 minutes after registration closed. That was a bummer, but, oh well.

4) Why is this happening??? Who knows? But it did & we survived.

Since we weren't registered & it was getting lateish, we found our room & I just crashed!! We shared a room with  Matsi_wuff &  True93. It was also decided that 'WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A GOOD TIME EVEN IF IT KILLS US DAMMIT!!!'

On Saturday, hit the registration line early & went off the have fun!!! On Saturday I met lots of furries!! Including  Dineegla  MuscleWolf (who I commissioned a GREAT some wonderful art from)  WeaselZERO  BlueEyedWolf &  bigwolfpaws (who I watched the Fursuit Parade with) . I also had the pleasure of meeting (& going to the gym with):  Tiptoe  SchreddedWolf &  ZakRhyno (I don't want to forget Maximus-Ursus, who was also there for the gym adventure). I also met & got yummy apple-cinnamon bread from  Sodalite.

On Sunday, more fun & some sadness saying goodbye to new friends. One really happy note about Sunday, for dinner, I got to go with Dineegla, MuscleWolf, WeaselZero, BleuEyedWolf, bigwolfpaws,  tkd_dbull &  Tevon & had some AMAZING lasagna!!!! And then, YUMMMMMMY pie!!! Thanks for letting me tag along for the super good food!!!

On Monday, it was time for good-byes for real. We got checked out of the room & 'popped a squat' in the lobby. Matsi & True took Rhu to his car & Rhu came back for me & our stuff. Thankfully, the drive home was uneventful & troublefree.

Despite the rough beginning (and the slight anxiety attack I suffered on Monday), fun was still had!! I do have lots of pictures & videos that I hope to get posted very soon!!

I'm sorry if I missed anyone! It was wonderful to meet everyone face-to-face!!! Next year....think I'll fly instead
