the guys standing at the doors of our local shopping centers? ringing the bell? yeah..dont do it.
1 fourth of all the donations go towards fighting gay rights.
thats 25 cents out of every dollar you donate to Salvation Army...its really bullshit.

I know they're against homosexuality, and that they lobby against gay rights, which is why I don't donate to them(plus the fact that I could use financial help a lot of times myself), but I do wonder where you got the 1/4th amount. I just know that a portion goes toward fighting against gay rights. 1/4 is a considerable amount.

Using any amount of the donations against gay rights is enough for me to dislike them, but 25% is enough to stop considering it a charity for helping people. I'm not gay, but like most people on this website, I have gay friends whom I wish happiness.
