http://www.katom.com/006-8030197.html I would agree with deadringtail after watching the video again, it really isn't a pipe of sorts, just a long bit of metal to poke at the sediment clogging the draining hole at the bottom of the fryers when changing or filtering the oil/grease
And that is why most restaurants won't deal with any bills over $50.
Also, I guess he can say that he's had to fend of women with a stick, an honor most men, sadly, cannot claim, not that I condone the beating of women. The beating of children, on the other hand...
Mixed feelings on that. I think that, regardless of prior history, everyone ought to have the right to defend themselves. But what he did went way beyond defense.
yeah it makes sence to have mixed feelings, but these people were clearly an crusade to proove they were bad ass.. im sorry.. also cause I feel the only reason people are feeling remourse for them is bcause they are woman.. and i dont think thats ok eather.. they intended to hurt that man without a doubt, and my mind and i feel justice was served.. but I do think he might have taken a few swings to many.. lol but those wemon were not delacite hahah i thought the one who climbed over was a man... any who i like to discuse these types of things with people.. so i suppose thats why i commented here but to you, I wasnt yelling or angery i was just posting.. feel free to post me what your thoughts are.im curious to see your position on the right and wrong of this event.
I suppose those are reasons to think he ought to face charges, but for me it really is that he continued to beat them for some time after they were down. That he used a steel bar on two women, oh well, they came after him, he used what he had at hand.
I don't think the last swing was justified, he should have backed off, but I've seen police officers do much worse when "defending" themselves, and they get off scott free, so why shouldn't this fellow?
Haha, good XP. It's nice to see you can defend yourself and not get in shit for it, even if he did get a bit too pissed and start breaking bones, haha.
>SOMEONE STARTS TALKING SHIT TO A CASHIER
>THEY SLAP HIM AND CHASE HIM INTO THE KITCHEN
>THEY BAAWW WHEN THEY GET THEIR ASSES HANDED TO THEM
SUCH A NICE WORLD WE HAVE, EH
You can tell there are a lot of people in the world who have either worked retail or in the fast food world.
Cause all of us are on the guy's side ^^;
Thanks for the update on this case. I don't think he should have gotten into any trouble for it either. Yeah he did cross a line but one has to wonder why McDonald's has a STEEL PIPE lying around (are you kidding? What the hell would it be for?!) What else was going on up close where we couldn't see.
It is not safe to stick your hand in hot fryer grease to clear the drain hole of sediment when changing or filtering the oil. We had the exact same metal rod at BK.
Something like http://www.katom.com/006-8030197.html .
I totally forgot about that cleaning tool! (Probably because the guy who usually cleaned it out preferred to use anything that wasn't the actual cleaner. OH GOD FLASHBACKS!!!)
Yes and no...he actually used hot water to clean EVERYTHING at closing time. The Grill, the floor, equipment...anything.
Any other tool he just did NOT believe would work on anything. I like to clean with hot water but its not like the golden secret of cleaning (he also worried about bacteria so I think that had something to do with it)
Awww, so many memories. Working the back window every night and doing dishes.
aye... memories. I worked at a BK, and the guy who did the fryers did them on rotation in the mornings actually... The night crew usually just sucked so I was super happy when I was put into a day.. and eventually breakfast shift. I didn't have to do the job that teens had hired on for, but didn't actually want to do.
Well good, thouse two women got what they deserved. To yell and scream is one thing but when someone reaches for me hits and scratches me then jumps over the counter and runs after me. Hell yeah I am going to beat the living hell out of you, your threating my life! regaurdless if they were carring a knife or a gun or absolutly nothing if someone is litteraly Lungeing for you to cause injury or harm defend yourself. Some times some say that one goes to far but do you really want the person that was trying to harm you to get back up? You can't just tap some one on the head and expect them not to re-retailiate and come after you again.
Way to go, while he did take it a bit too far, I a pipe http://www.katom.com/006-8030197.html this is not. The women should not have gone that far themselves so they technically asked for it.
On one hand, those two women had it coming by stepping out of line like that; on the other, McIntosh had it coming when he still, at the end, lost his job because he attacked them by using a cleaning tool as a melee weapon. Though if he got his job back, I'd be pretty surprised.

Eventually someone would come along with that rod and work the crud out so he could...boil the problem away to his heart's content -
-_-

They should start including a metal rod with each happy meal.
