As for what inspires me the most, excellent question!
...well...here goes. Pretty much the darker, bleaker things in the world. The blackest part of the human condition, both from what I observe in the world, and my own continued suffering and search for peace within myself. Not that I mean to glorify such things, either. But rather, make people aware...like the dog owner who rubs the puppies nose in his own shit to make him aware of what he's done. Ghandi once said you need to be the change you wish to see...and thats true to an extent. Cuz sometimes, you need to be the villain to get peoples attention, and unify them. Sometimes you have to set the world on fire, to make way for something beautiful. But I'm not good at 'beauty', so that will need to be someone elses job. I, however, am quite adept at destroying things. And I do so enjoy playing the part of the villain.

Blue has varying shades that give off different feelings, and blue is a primary color, not mixed with anything else... Plus it's just very relaxing and enjoyable!
And Noctowl is because it's very good when trained well and it can be gotten very quickly in Gold/Silver/Heart Gold/Soul Silver... Plus there's nothing that's really similar to Noctowl in the games as far as I've seen. :3

And to answer the question, since I was a kid I've identified closely with dogs and foxes. Always loved Robin Hood and Fox and the Hound, would watch over and over. I discovered the furry fandom when a couple of people were discussing them in a certain forum-which-I-won't-say, and I looked them up on Youtube shortly after. I found a news story from 2004 or something about furries (though looking back, it was very off). Luckily, that didn't turn me away. I then discovered Lucky Coyote's and LatinVixen's fursuit videos, followed by Soki's vids. Always identifying with foxes, I chose that as a fursona! The current art I have of me is Luigi's interpretation.

An interesting question. Initially I threw around ideas like a cat or a bunny (or at least I fooled around with a story idea where there was a bunny character stand-in for me). At this point though, I don't feel like either of those is fitting. As of now, I might pick something like a groundhog.
