I couldn't believe what I was hearing when I was told that my laptop, my custom built $2500 laptop, was in the hands of some random dude in Fort Bragg NC. I've been tracking this order for almost going on a month now only to hear they botched up the shipping.

I called USPS and they basically shrugged their shoulders and said it was delivered to its proper address. I talked to an online rep at xoticpc and they tell me "maybe that's just a hub where they gather military mail and fly it over to the middle east" and I'm like "an army base? hello no." So I call the post office who received the thing and they tell me it was delivered to a PO box somewhere in Fort Bragg and was properly signed for (yes, it was registered mail. you'd have to sign my name and show ID to even gaze upon its presence.) So I call up xotic and get a hold of a supervisor and she tells me they're going to launch a investigation to see who to point fingers at and cover the bill, then tells me this could be a lengthy process and could take some time and I tell her I've already been waiting nearly a month.

I'm going to keep harassing them, and once they find blame, I'm going to tell them to send me a brand new one over-freakin-night while they trudge around trying to find the one they threw into the wind.

I'm going to get some kind of rebate or something out of this, because this is straight retarded. I was fuming pissed and everyone around me was like "WTF!"
