For Sociology you will need to give a group lecture about a lesser known group of people...So why not furries?
I did an hour long rambling talk on furries, the shenanigans they do, and the light and dark of the strangeness we all are. Using a short video by Attack of the Show the gave a short overview of furries(for beginners).
Now that that's done...time to boogie!

good questions, well informed, though I think we all ended on the idea that it was weird. Though one in the class came out of the furry closet while I was speaking *yayz* and I think I may have recruited another into being a fur. So I think it went over well. For a close minded community, they were a bit giggly at the bit on porn and such.
