Two more miles today. Neither under 10 minutes. So that sucks.

I stole stuff from a store once as a kid.
And from my employers as an adult. Once, it was embezzlement - but it was forgiven. I wasn't the only person taking quarters from the test hopper on my desk with $500 worth of quarters in it. Over a year, $200 or so evaporated from it, and then some. Definitely not all my doing.
There just were no safeguards, cameras, counting out and in, etc., to prevent or track coins being physically removed from basically a huge candy dish open to greedy hands taking however many they wanted when I wasn't there. Including mine, taking a couple for sodas when I was there. And another few for late-night snacks.
Like I said, no pressed charges, for there was no way of proving how many I took vs. others, and I was given permission to remove a few after hours, since food and drink were hard to get then, and the vending machines were handy. So it was more a case of abused privilege. I never took coins from that for pocket change, however. It all stayed inside the company, who did get a stipend from the vending machine company. So the cash stayed inside the company to a degree, and more valuably, kept me putting in longer hours for "free."
I've never stolen a single thing. Ever. Closest I've ever come is when I found a $5 bill on a deserted sidewalk once.
Um... I don't know...
