Lord, I hope they don't just reskin Dragon Age 2 to make Dragon Age 3. >_> I would be pissed too.

Don't have a LiveJournal, so guess I'll just say some stuff here that's relevant. Even Me1 had a cover system, it just wasn't as "button tap," and I am sooo god damned happy to see them bringing stealth back. The inability to sneak up on enemies in 2 annoyed me to no end. Honestly, none of ME3 what so ever seems "stolen" from other game titles. Most of these elements have been around for at least a decade or so, just because a recent big name used it doesn't mean they're the origin. The stealth kills goes at least as far back as Tenchu and Metal Gear. Though yeah, the omni-blade bugs the crap out of me too. But apparently your melee strike is going to be different depending on what your class is, so not everyone's actually going to use that. (Personally, I loved punching varren in the face to kill them. It felt kinda badass.)

As for the Reapers... We've seen these items deployed against them, but have yet to see any of them actually take the Reaper down. At best, that thresher maw seemed like an annoyance and a distraction, for example.
