You should talk to EC, he tries to keep the memory of "forgotten" and "minor" characters going, particularly the ones from Dragon Ball. He does have some particular affection for Cymbal. Yajirobe killing him was back before power levels became prominent.

I seem to harbour that affection myself (minor characters, that is... and dragons). Too bad the power levels couldn't hurry along in time. :( Btw, who's EC?

I agree, I've done that as well. There are some characters from shows I wish could have been more utilized. Truthfully, I wish Giran would have been part of the regular DB cast all the way through Z. He just needed to train up and get stronger. :D

Same here! At least he got to appear more than Cymbal did (even if, ironically, he ended up being killed by Cymbal's brother, Tambourine).

Plus, he'd add a nifty fully nonhuman element to the group that for some reason Piccolo just doesn't seem to.

Yeah, I have to agree. Aliens in the JRPGs I've played never look different from humans all that much. Piccolo is just a green humanoid with antennae, pointed ears and fangs.

Ultimately, most RPG's seems to follow the idea that if one makes a character that is supposed to be different from the rest, it still has to follow the human-like looks or logic, so that people can trust him because "he shares some similarity with the human beings, so therefor, he is a "human"."
