One day. I'll just skip today.
Then I get a text saying the jogging this is great.
rrgh... dammit, fine. Another mile today. Just one though.
Took some kinda online quiz thing and part of it was about activities you go and do to meet people. Holy crap, every single thing listed, like, about a dozen, I checked the 'rarely/never' box. I am.... such a hermit. Rrgh I hate that about myself. But you know what I hate more? Having to hang around other people. It's a terrible cycle that's going to make me into a bitter old man.
Here's a video review of starwars. It's an hour an a half long. It's fantastic. And there's two more that're both the same length. And y'know what? Totally worth it. Creative and entertaining and wildly smart and insightful as to where the movies went wrong. Taught me a lot about storytelling.
But like I said, super long. So only start watching if you have time or are ok with watching it split into a few parts.

Plinkett, you're my hero and your wife deserved what was coming to her. Please send me some pizza rolls.

But yeah... I can't defend the prequel movies very much at all with the sheer level of problems with them. My favourite part of any of these reviews is the analyses of Padme and Anakin's er, "Romance".
I even accepted the romance parts but when they have this weird talk about sand and Anikin suddenly just blurts out. "I HATE the sand." and there's this awkward pause on screen, that's when the whole illusion came apart for me. I realized none of it went anywhere. There were all these words being said and things being done and none of it meant anything. It retroactively made the other moves BAD. and that's why I don't consider e1 e2 or e3 to be real starwars movies. They're like fanboi movies.
