All I wanna do is PAINT!

♥ If I can see it, then I can do it. If I just believe it, there's nothing to it ♥ haha so I figure I might start posting more journals here on FA land. Twitter has gotten kinda boring for me :)
I have so many ideas swirling in my head for my aerosol canvas work, I just cant wait to get my cans back out and rattling. God I love spray paint so much, its probably dangerous. But its the best media to really express some of the more grungy or violent feelings an artitst can have. As of late I have found that the longer I go without painting, the stranger and scarier my dreams get. I think the art is the best way to make these things go away. The constant to alot of my dreams as well as my paintings if you notice, is this strange wolf-like black monster. I feel that it is most likely my Muse as an artist. There has always been 2 sides to my art, a light and a dark. The light I find to be not as consuming to create as the dark. The dark art almost seems like a necessity to create sometimes. An urgent necessity. After allittle bit more hard work on some of these current costumes I'm helping with at Dont Hug Cacti, I really can't wait to get back to my art. I will be skipping Further Confusion this year as well, this time will really give me the space I need to get back and gathered to myself :)
My question to the artist out there reading this:
When you aren't drawing your fursona, do you have something that comes out of your art on a regular bases that you can't help but to create? Like a muse within your work? If so, what is it? What do you feel like after you've drawn it or written it out?
Haha, so yeah, I'd love to hear what ya'll have to say :)

I'm also glad you're going to be posting more here! (: I never used Twitter, nor do I really plan to, but I love hearing from you!
I believe that Crimes IS my muse. If I am just randomly doodling, she'll just...happen o.o
Though I do have a 'darker' sona, Pinball, I don't really draw her much. I guess, even though I am depressed inside sometimes, drawing a slobbery happy bright dog brightens my spirit and puts me in a better mood (: And that works for me!
My "vent art" is usually my main lynx fursona Sketchkat carrying out deeds I can't otherwise express (ie. angrily chewing on a plush version of the character if I'm feeling more mellow by the time I fetch the paper & pen ^^;)
If I happen to feel the more 'bitchy' anger, I'll draw my werefox-hyenathing Doodlekit - she is a rather over-confident and bossy character in my head x3 though she doesn't appear too often because I'm a fairly calm person normally ^^
Also, I get where you're coming from on the art vs. dreams thing :3
If you go so long without being creative, it rages for a bit inside your head... and then gets stuck after a very long time x3 then you can't think of it again
i think when we artist have bad moments in life we draw our fursona's is a more dramatic way like being shot, killed, or suffering in a awful way. another is like a monster side of us, a part where we don't look like ourselves by bringing out the worst of us.
will you be taking commissions when painting?
They make no sense, they sound croaky when they speak and really, they just remind me to laugh. Of laughter, of the wildness of art, how ridiculous and chaotic getting hit with the energy of art can be. They make me FEEL creative. They come to me sporadically and bite me with the DRAW bug, and I'll doodle little Oobilan from time to time for fun. I suppose lots of people have more...regal and majestic muses, mine just reminds me art, and life, doesn't have to be so serious.
What's cool too, is that these photos can be used as a basic for a painting. I'd love to do some matte paintings by combining photos with 3d models and hand painting techniques to create unique locations and places.
