Just found the gnome in question and was wondering if it was a bug or just part of full game. Hope it gets fixed soon but no hurry, rest of game is looking great. =)

Thank you so much for that. I'm currently staying in a hotel, and the provided internet blocks popular file sharing sites like megaupload. I've managed to find proxies to get around the blocked sites, but all of the proxies I've found also block those sites to save on bandwidth and cost. Anyway, thanks again for providing that link.

It's great so far. Only problem is that now RPG maker is permanently holding the down button for me, so the best I can do is stay still or just go to the bottom of the map. Can't move upwards anymore. I'll give uninstalling and reinstalling another try...

I sometimes have that problem too, usually just restarting my comp fixes it. Don't know why it does that, as it happens with any game made on it.

I must be one of the lucky ones, today was the last day of classes before the winter break meaning i have 2 weeks+ to play it before i go back to college.

Cant wait til the rest of the game is finished and hope there will be no more major fixes that will prevent save files from being transferred.

i've only found one problem. the window resizing doesn't working right anymore. at first it worked fine filling the screen properly, but now when i look in the inventory i can't see what the item does and in battle the status it gone.

has anyone else ran into to this problem, i'm running windows 7.

Reached the end of Part 1. Found Gabe in game, poor pony, wish there was a scene with him though. ~.^

Just need to do all the side quests now. Need to catch a frog, and find a daughter. A guide would be great at some point. Oh, can someone list all o the people you can group with? I have the girl you start the game with, the cheese beard Mage, and the woman the King lends you. A healer would be helpful though.

for healer you should accept the old mans help in the beginning of the game, he dies but you can recruit his son later in the game. their names are Zhu'Yen for the old man and Gin'Yen for his son. You talk to the son on the main story but cannot recruit him unless the father dies.

you beat the game? how did you "circle the ocean and stand on the edge of the world"?

Walk around the little "pool" in the center of that room, then walk around the edge of the square section of that same room.

When walking north through the ruins north east of (I think) Breeze Village. You'll come across a fork in the road with a sign in the middle. Go right, from there keep going right. Gabe's house can be found in one of the north leading paths in the maps to follow. (North up some rocky steps, not a bridge.

I would like to report a problem with the blacksmith in the gnome village place...after i turned in the quest and went to shop the game crashed. I will post the full error message if it happens again. If it is a known issue then i apologize for wasting your time.

the error only occurs when you try to shop for weapons, armor works fine.

aww man I was sooo into the game that I just got to the end.... And I was looking at the all sex scenes and notice there alot more I missed in the storyline. Is those scenes in the game or is it beyond the episode?

I think it might have to do with the "Western" and "Eastern" decision.

I gave Milana a gift and our relationship is +1. Now the text saying that will not go away. Everywhere I go it shows "Milana Relationship +1"

If you make a choice that does the "light side points gained" or whatever, it will go away. Otherwise it even stays even if you save/load.

I had that happen as well, i got rid of it by getting relation up with another person. Still needs to be taken care of but at least its not really permanent.

You can also clear it out by opening your artwork or collection books.

How do you give gifts to others exactly? i cant seem to do it

I was going to a random city, went to the pub and your character says "Hmmm... (name) is not here. Maybe they are outside."

If you dont mind me asking, what do you do for a living? Besides sound, do you have anyother people help you create these games? I am currently studying to be a game designer, and i gotta say if you are anything but a game desinger yourself, this is f@#king amazing, even with RPGMaker RTP.
Last quater we had to make a simlple, small 1 level game using Unreal Development Kit(the game engine used for Unreal games) and with 3 other people it took us 7 weeks of work to get it done. And it was a SIMPLE level, no complex coding or special effects to it. And here you make an entire game in about a year(?), that is f#$king amazing.

Great so far, I've gotten to Valethorn. Found a glitch there, though. The chest in the easy locked house says you obtain a lightning rod (which would be for the mage), but you actually obtain a lightning *mace* (which is for the healer). Just thought I'd let you know.

I was so depressed when i reached the end the fact that there wasnt even a single scene with Osira and our character was a bit upsetting to be honest.

Also Gabe unless such a thing is already going to be put in would it be possible in part 2 for there to be an upgrade to the limit of the Magical growth pills so our character could effectively get a size equal to Emperor Bastorrahl?

Note the humour in say first sex scene with Osira if your equipment is on par with his most likely she would enjoy it because she would want to be dominative over your character and it makes it all the sweeter for her because your the same size as her much hated Emperor.

Also like i said above i cant seem to give anybody gifts i buy them but cant work out how to give them another thing im very curious about is Madam Sonya's place how the hell does that place work

First of all, awesome job on the game, Gabe. I haven't managed to get through to where the previous demo left off, but have already noticed a good amount of changes and additions. Keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to the full release/episode II.
Now, on to my question:
Is the magical growth working in the game? I used it a large number of times (and the item wasn't consumed in the process), and there was no size change in the scene with Farah in the inn.
I know the images for the increased sizes exist from poking around in the files, but is there any way to access them in the game? Do I just need to use the growth item an ungodly number of times or is it simply not working yet?

Okay, I just had to use the growth item a ton to get it to max out.

I found some glitches while exploring totville.

The scholar there incorrectly identifies "Beast" as the correct answer in his Q & A sidequest (the correct answer is "Avian").

Also, when you complete the quest "Mining Trouble" and try to use the blacksmiths shop to buy weapons, the game crashes. Funny enough, this doesn't have if you browse armors.

Encountered the same bug with the gnome blacksmith: you can access his list of armors, but trying to look at weapons causes a crash:

Quest Help - The 'Sleeptalker' quest. For the love of me I can't find where I have to go, and I've spent hours trying to find the specific place. Any help?

Bug - On my save, the character now perminately moves left, and I can't do anything to stop him. I can't go right at all. Is there any way to fix this?

"Sleeptalker" quest? Where does that start?

In Castle Resteed, in the inn. At the botttom left corner there's a guy sleeping in a bed. Go to him and he'll start talking in his sleep, giving you the sidequest.

from the breeze woods tavern go right till you reach the map with the lake in the middle and campsites around it. go the top left one (the one with a big tree nearby), then check between the logs and the fireplace. make sure you have a shovel with you.

I assume you're meaning the Dark Elf you meet in the village where it's raining? If so, then yes. After you finish the quest you get there, you get the option to have her join your party.
As for the Olden Gold Coins, I believe you can only get them from chests that are only visible from one of the rewards from the quiz guys. So make sure you complete all of those.

Its pretty logical really. If you recruit the male wizard then you cant recruit the dark elf. One cancels out the other.
Same with Latex and the female knight (whose name i suddenly forgot). Cant have both. Choose one.

Golden coins can be found in normal chests. And i havent found a way to interact/get quests from Sonya

Where is this Latex NPC found?

After you talk to the King, one of the guards at the wall will offer a quest. When you do that quest, you'll find Latex. She wouldn't join me, presumably because I already had the General in my party.

Is there a way to rewatch old scenes WITH the text?

What I generally do is save right before triggering the scene and then copy that save file somewhere else. Then if you want to watch it again, move it back into the original folder (but be careful not to overwrite your regular save) and load it up. It doesn't work perfectly (especially if there's a large portion of cut-scene/battles where you can't save), but it does work.

I have done that in games with unlimited save slots, but with only three it would be very annoying.
It's just that there is usually a way to rewatch scenes in games like this, and with part II coming it would be a great feature.

Awesome to see! Latex has always been a favorite character of mine, hadn't seen her in a long time. Hell I didn't even know you had an FA page, so that's a good surprise for today.

Can anyone tell me about the Other legendary monster? The one in the other page when you look in the monster book. Found every other one, just not sure about that one.

I believe that that monster is not found on the continent of Namaria and thus is not in this portion of the game.

Perhaps im being stupid, but can anyone tell me how to improve relationships with other party members? I cant seem to converse with them in the tavern, except to ask them to leave/join party. Is it something to do with the gifts? and how do you give those?

by other party members, i mean those beside opala and her mother. sorry if that wasn't clear.

You need to actually have purchased the right gift(s) to be able to have the option to give them come up. If you have the right gift and visit the tavern in the correct town, your character will notice that someone isn't there. Go find them in town and talk with them. After a few boxes of text, you'll be able to give them a gift, which will give you one relationship point with them. So far I've found one with Milana and one with Layla. I can give you more explicit instructions if you'd like.
And there's the standard, though not entirely common, storyline choices you can make that sometimes affect your standing with a party member. A few that come to mind for Milana are whether or not you kiss her at the start of the game, whether you resist arrest or surrender at Castle Resteed (and it is actually possible to get the point for resisting arrest and still get the scene with her and Opala in Resteed jail), and whether or not you recruit the alchemist.
But as the storyline changes are rather rare, and the gift giving appears to be a one-time thing, it looks like boosting your rep with your party members is a much slower process. I managed to get Milana up to the red heart level, though it doesn't seem to trigger anything special. Although with her being a lesbian, perhaps we'll never get a scene with her. Which would be a shame. Having a threesome with her and one (or more) of the egyptian royalty would be amazing.

To be honest i'd love a walkthrough or list of all the current scenes we can access in this game, as im not the sort of person who is bothered by spoilers and i like to make sure im treading the right path to get what i want, so it would be nice if someone's got that information. But i've a sneaking suspicion that there isnt much in the way of new hentai content in part one when compared to the demo, not counting illustrations. of course i'd happily be wrong!

You've probably noticed the fork to the east after heading through the Greyroad Ruins to Rockgard Village to rescue Farah. I believe the area is called Neverless Cannons. Anyway, initially, the way through is blocked because the bridge is out. Later in the game (I believe I've heard it's after you've been through the wall into Northern Namaria), the bridge is fixed. Gabe's house is in that area. Bring 5k gold for a scene with him (and an achievement).

Ah..thank you that helps immensely. I've found him. However i seem to be stuck on the second visit with the little cat girl, and according to the wiki, the scene takes place on your third visit with him. Do i have to leave back to the world map itself, or find something to trigger the third visit? Sorry for all the questions by the way!

No worries, I'm glad to help. And to get the next scene to trigger, I left the house, went down/south a screen, then right/east a screen, then headed back and it progressed to the next visit.

Hmm..no luck with me still. Still just Nipha there and Gabe repeating his dialogue about how he's dropped his pencil. Could be a bug, or perhaps you can only get it on western art setting? Yeah i started again with western art setting, still no third visit trigger. Its really strange.

Going several screens away didn't work for me as well but what did was going to the inn and changing it to night. Might work if you haven't tried it already.

I have 2 problems:
1.Where can i find the captain so i can set sail over the great ocean
2.How can i get the "passport" that lets me pass the southern gate from the desert?

Also where can i find the hidden store?

Can't cross the ocean yet as far as i'm aware that's the end of part 1. To get through the gate you talk to the queen in her palace, guard at the gate will give you directions.

Ok so maybe a redundent question but when you say carry over save from the completed game do you mean the first one as i beat it if so freaggin awesome if no oh wells but i was just wondering...

You can carry over a save game from Episode 1 (this game) to Episode 2 (the entire game which is not yet out).

not to be so ambigous but i put my first game (the first one in the series not queen opala 2 but 1 save game) into the folder and loaded it up for some reason i completed the game but had none of the unlockables. Or to a point where this one ends... wierd glitch and or loading thing if ya know what i mean.

Still only about 1/4 of the way through but I think I might have found a glitch. I have noticed that a Monster's "Defend" action will take place before they cast it and not after.

Example: I hit a Monster and do 100 damage. The Monster will "Defend" on its turn. I will hit the Monster with the same attack and do 350 damage.

It is to the point I can predict which Monster will Defend on its turn based upon the damage amount I do. It's a small thing. Wonderful game though! I am blow away by how large the terrain is.

I noticed that, too. It seems that for enemies, the defend bonus is applied before their turn is shown. Conversely, attacking after it uses defend will do full damage, unless it defends again on the next turn. It's not really a big deal, since you can't modify what you do since your damage doesn't go out until after you choose all of your character actions. It is an odd bug, though.
