New computer.

I got my new computer today, hooked it up easily. but there one problem. The internet connect is insanly low! i try down loading yahoo messenger and it was 569..BYTES per sec!
I was able to get one download to be 7kb a sec, but my normal range is about 15, and able to reach 40..why is it so slow?

how, when I used my old computer early today and it was normal?

maybe its the prime time when everyone wants to use the net in the area you live at or it can be the bloatware on the new computer.
