Heh, yeah. There was a gunshop owner I heard who kept one around in a glass case as his "douchebag detector". As a silhouette or hunting pistol, they're pretty good, but totally ridiculous for all the tacticool movie stuff.

I am not a fan of the Desert Eagle, I am a fan of any high caliber Revolver. I get critisised for wanting to CCW one of those. I would never rely on a DE for defense.

Neither would I. The Desert Eagle is more of an interesting idea rather than any sort of practical pistol.
