...I'm over it now, but still. Not the first time he's eaten something of mine, and the stuff he's eaten in the past has had much more sentimental value and been in higher and more unreachable places, so.. I think he's out to get me sometimes. :/

It's hard sometimes, but he's old. xD I have to be patient with him. Though it's really hard sometimes, he's just a dog afterall; I hardly think he does it out of spite. :)

I dunno, i've always been sort of a cat person. I think it's because I grew up keeping cats but only watching or playing with other people's dogs. I guess we understand eachother better. xD

And yeah.. I've had cats that eat and destroy things too, but they certainly know their limits on what they should and shouldn't be eating, as well as staying out of trouble for the most part. I think the only things they have ever really eaten that they weren't supposed to were houseplants. My kitty, Nala, loves hiding all of my hair ties. She will literally drag them around or carry them places and hide them. But never once has she tried to eat one. Cats definitely have more tact and mindfulness when it comes to respecting people's stuff.

Yeah, same here. I've kept cats (though only one at a time) since I was 3 years old. I actually hated dogs for the longest time when I was little because my grandma's borzoi lashed out at me >.<

Haha, my cat Maggie likes hair ties (and rubber bands) too. Her big thing is wicker though. She will obliterate anything wicker.

I really dont understand why dogs find dead/inedible/garbage so appealing to eat. I mean, I know they have a better sense of smell, but wouldn't that make them even more unattracted to it? xD

Thanks for your thoughts about my ele though. xD I will hold a service for it's little mangled tinfoil pieces later today and maybe if I get the inspiration to sculpt again i'll try and make another one.

I know dogs taste buds are different then humans so maybe they can taste things we don't in food.

As for your elephant, you should slap some new clay on him and turn him into some sort of freakish creature lol

Oh dear lord. -_- He's gonna be pretty constipated. My dog just eats poop. Like cat poop, horse poop, and other dogs' poop.

Don't get me wrong dude, he eats that too! ._. He likes to ram his face into the cat's covered litterbox and munch away, but i'll spare you the details. xD

Luckily although clay and foil, it was a rather small sculpture, and the clay is nontoxic so i'm not too worried, although if he does get a tummyache it serves him right. maybe he'll learn not to eat my stuff ;;

That's why I just have cats and rabbits... Although leaving anything paper/cardboard within my rabbit's reach is pretty much a given... That it's hers to chew on XD

Awww, I used to have a bunny. I miss him dude ;; Rabbits are awesome. And yeah, I remember mine loved cardboard too! :D Cardbord, those chewy wood block things, and Trix. Yes... I fed my rabbit trix. Rare treats for being a good boy, but yeah. xD

I'd be pissed honestly, cause this situation of dog eating something important happened to me. But I hope your doggy don't get sick! I bet it was like. The most amazing sculpture of a baby elephant. So sorry that happened but, try doing it over and put it some place higher? Or in your room somewhere?

Well it wasn't that great of a sculpture compared to sculptors I've seen here on FA, 'cause honestly, I don't sculpt very much. xD But I will say I had the trunk down, I had eyebrows and he was smilingggg, UGHH. Bleh. I wish I could retaliate and eat his stuff but all his food has meat in it. ._.

Yeah. My dogs got ahold of some papers that were important and shredded them up. Filling them out again was a bigger pain. But I can never stay made at them for so long. Dx

I'm sure it was awesome looking Icy. Are you gonna retry it again? Or make something new? I'd say try sculpting Icykat. That'd be awesome to see. :3

Yeah, and the yesterday he ate chocolate! -_- He likes to get into things when i'm not home.. The chocolate was high up on a shelf, I honestly dont know how he was able to grab it down. grrrr.
I just hope those stomach aches make him learn his lesson! He's usually more well behaved than this. ;;
