I would not feel too bad about the documentary (it would not open up for me, but I am assuming it is about a prison) because the reality is that many prisons tend to be stuck in rural or lightly populated areas. It is a fact of life that a lot of Illinois' prisons are Downstate which does not mean that Downstate is bad. Granted, no town wants to be known for its prison, but amazingly some towns can make lemonade out of lemons from their prisons with Joliet being a good example. The old Joliet prison has been used for television and film (Prison Break and The Blue Brothers being two examples) as well as becoming a tourist attraction of a bygone time. Also, I think the old prison is used as a giant haunted house during Halloween.
