i rode my bike downtown to buy pushpins at staples. while i was locking my bike, a homeless man walked past me and shouted something and a young looking middle aged lady pushed her 10 year old daughter into the store where they quietly bickered about laptop cases.
i bought two different kinds of pushpins and rode home feeling accomplished.
later that day i would knock over one of the boxes of pushpins (as was inevitable) and spend an inordinate amount of time picking them up
