Tips or Remedies? Antibiotics GET!
A few days ago, I went out into the luke warm night air for my mother. Came back and started feeling really tired, I flopped onto the couch in the front room with the big window and fell asleep without any covers except for two little couch pillows.
When I woke up I was ice from top to bottom, shivering and chattering so I tossed myself into a hot shower and felt much nicer.
Until I got out.
I was confused at how dizzy and cold I still felt. The only way to describe this bone deep feeling was that of a pile of hot sick meat. I whipped out the thermometer and there it was: 101.1 F
I'd just GOTTEN OVER something allergy related and now I'm dealing with this JUST AS my sister, BABY(!) nephew and two nieces are visiting from South Caroline for the Holidays?
I can't touch anything.
I can't spend time with anyone.
I can't even sit at the dinner table as I am right now.
But the worst thing about the whole sickness are my EARS!
They're both so clogged! I can barely hear. I've looking up online remedies.
I've peroxided them more than a few times, used a squeezy thing to shoot warm water into them to try and rinse them out, I've even eaten a jalapeno pickle to get mucus flowing and then lay an ear on top of a heating pad to try and drain it.
A little leakage occurred but it was short lived. It's all connected to my throat I know, which hurts pretty bad.
Anyone else ever have this problem and/or have any tips on how to remedy or cure this?
( Also no, Doctor is not an option. I've used all my commission money for bills and rent. And since being sick I haven't got a chance to work on them much, so I couldn't clear the way to take on more and make more money. )

EDIT:
Found a family member with some left over antibiotics that'll treat what I have.
Big warm thank you to Caerdwyn who is a very good shining person in a cold and crowded internet.

I'm afraid I have no helpful advice. But I'll post up a get well soon message. Sorry to hear you're feeling under.
hope you feel better soon
A small round of antibiotics is liable to do more damage than not since it kills all the good bacteria along with whatever bad you might have...also, if it isn't bacterial, you'll be doing far more harm than good, as they kill your immune system! Get a good round of non-dairy probiotics, if you're dead set on taking those.
Green tea, honey, flax seed oil, hemp seed oil, and lots of vitamins C and B(3-12) are your best friends right now. You can't OD on C, really, so load up. The seed oils I mentioned are for Omega-3s, and honey/green tea are filled with antioxidants...as are green, leafy veggies, so salads are amazing when you're sick. Lots of water, of course.
If you smoke, you might want to consider that some of the stuff in cigs breaks down vitamin C before your body is able to use it, so that could be a serious issue for your body's immune system rebuilding after being ill.
As for your ears, if you think it's wax, there's a ton of different remedies...but HOT water with a LOT of pressure behind it is the best and most reliable method of getting blockages out of there. Sit in a hot shower with water blasting right into your ear for several minutes...the heat should soften the wax, and the pressure moves it...if that doesn't work, olive oil can also help. Peroxide is actually a bad idea because it can damage inner workings and really dry out the skin in there.
Hope you get better soon, man.
Wanted to add too, that if you're on any doctor-prescribed meds, obviously check with them first before taking ANY internet stranger's recommendations. I don't think you are but I don't want to hear about some drug interaction that I caused because I didn't say this! :<
I take Olive Leaf Extract to up my immune system. Take that everyday and you'll find you fight things alot better! I used to get chest infections all the time due to being run down from night shifts. I rarely get sick these days.
for the ears, try a GNC ask the people some questions there. They're not doctors but they can help with natural remedies. Now for intense wax buildup 'candling' is great. they have them at GNC they're beeswax candles you put in your ear and light the end and the heat PULLS the gunk out. (similar to why using a qtip AFTER a shower is better, the heat of the shower has loosened the wax) Now I'm not sure that works for fluid/infection so be careful and ASK the employees if they know the usage.
Try going to a walgreens and telling the pharmacist your symptoms. They're very well trained and can at least give you a guess on what could help/what it is without seeing a doctor.
Oh and sudafed and mucinex loosen and drain fluid in your head so that could help too. Just make sure to read directions and make sure nothing interacts! Good luccck
Its that BAD? Well all I can say is keep draining your nose and hope for the best, I would not be surprised if this is what is causing my ringing in my ears but I wish you luck and good health. *hugs*
