Apparently the contest host decided to award the prize to a person who didn't follow the contest rules. The person, while he gained a lot more votes than me, wasn't wearing underwear that the company sells, which is part of their rules and regulations.

I've sent the company an email complaining about this, and hopefully this will be rectified.

EDIT: After several email responses, I have settled on a 2nd place $50 voucher. I still believe I was owed the 1st place prize, but it came down to either accept the compensation voucher or leave empty handed, I took the voucher.

Apparantly they altered the rules allowing any brand of underwear. Bullshit, really, as they never updated their site or twitter, and the official pdf of the rules is still online. They claimed to have sent a mass email to contestants, but I call bull on that too...as I never received it, nor did it go to my spam/junk folders, as I monitor those as well, especially during contests.

So they fucked up, and are trying to cover their asses.

At least they offered the secondary voucher.

WINNER: The winner will be announced later tonight! I SHOULD have won, and even though I didn't get first place, the fact that the company fucked up and awarded the prize to someone who didn't follow the rules should not put my voters out of THEIR Prize! So congrats to one of you lucky peeps!
