At least some of you have probably been wondering why lately I have been scarcely seen on MSN, and not seen at all on here, YiM, or Facebook. This is because I have been out in Canberra, visiting my sister, who had a baby on the 10th at about 6 in the morning (GMT +10 DST). That's right, I'm an uncle now! For real! And she's such a beautiful little thing.

When I told  thunder-felix about it, he just had to make this pic in tribute to it. I'm very happy for everything. Unfortunately, I can't show you any photos of the real child, but take my word for it: She's the cutest thing I ever saw. It seems Christmas has come early for my big sis!

But consequently, this has left me with limited communication available. I was stuck with using my iBook G4, which is only running Mac OS X 10.3.9. It predated the use of intel chipsets in Mac computers, so it was incredibly slow by standards. This meant I couldn't come to FA comfortably. Just about every browser plugin is out of date, so I can't go to some sites. And to top it all off, there's no version of YiM that will work on it, and the version of MSN I have is WAY OLD.

I am home now, but I have been busy the last few days, and probably still will be until Chrissy. Boxing day, I'm heading out AGAIN, this time my cousins will be with me as well as my parents. So chances for me to MSN will be next to nothing then.

But, it's a small price to pay, I think. I ish an uncle at the age of 17. It should be interesting. ^.^
