I am finding myself with a bit of a problem. Giving my fiscal circumstances, and other issues that I prefer to keep strictly to select company, I may have to go live back at home. I told myself, promised myself in fact, that I would need to fall flat on my face before I go back there to share living space with my absolutely wonderful family (That isn't satirical, either- they're really good people). And, I can kind of see the fall coming.

When the money runs out and the time runs out, I'll always have a place back with the family.

I'll miss my own space; my own space probably my single most cherished possession. Back home space is very limited so I'll need to find myself a corner and try to keep my expansion in check. I hope something comes through for me, and I'll admit I've been lucky enough that in the past it often does. Though, I am totally willing for it not to work out; I need the crisis management skills.

I don't have a lot to say on the holidays, but I will say something anyways because I'm not sure when I'll feel like posting another pointless journal. I always enjoy holidays, as well should you; they might seem kind of pointless but there's something nice about a bunch of folks being pointless together. Holidays are a bit of an absurd interruption in the routine, one of those social contract kind that says, "yeah, let's observe some really obscure and arcane tradition and take a break from real life a little while".

And we do, and it's totally awesome.
