The List of 439 organizations that support SOPA
14 years ago
Hey, I just came across this article earlier this morning when a friend pointed it out to me. I think that we should be somewhat concerned with this. Out of all these organizations, most of them being major movie corporations and political organizations, there are a few head scratchers...
I encourage you all to look at this. People are organizing a mass boycott of products from these organizations.

Here are a few that seem odd-
-Bose Corporation
-Ford Motor Company
-CVS Caremark
-Dolby Laboratories, Inc.
-Major League Baseball
-Minor League Baseball (MiLB)
-National Football League (NFL)
-National Hockey League (NHL)
-Nintendo of America Inc.
-Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC)
-Wal-Mart
-Xerox Corporation
The list goes on...... They are supposed to vote on this within a week or two (could be after the holidays!) Take a look at this and for the sake of your freedom of speech, repost this so others know not to support the very companies that are fighting against us!

Just the more you know, yeah?
It's horrible what they are doing. It doesn't make sense, and they are going against our first Amendment (Freedom of Speech)
I never would have thought that the reselling of games impacted the industry that much. o.o I'll take a deeper look into it.
Also, they've acquired other stores some times, and ordered all games of old systems like the NES and such DESTROYED, not sold, not kept, trashed. They've sued workers who tried to preserve the games, had them arrested for stealing company property even if they put 50 bucks per game up for it beforehand. Gamestop is a horrible company. The only reason I shop there is because the staff are so nice and it's SO much closer than any alternative shops.
