I agree, I been away from home on christmas for 4 years already u.u

Guh I feel for ya Vee. Being stationed somewhere halfway across the globe doing military service ain't a way to spend Christmas >.<

I truly feel honored that people who work in the military, as firefighters, police officers and medical personnel are willing risk their lives daily and forfeit holidays to serve the public at large.

It is indeed tragic that there are more than a fair number of people out in the world that (for one reason or another) can't enjoy this time of year. The sad thing is that, certain circumstances cannot be helped by everyone. But as a whole, I think Christmas is one of those things that is meant to be enjoyed in a way that brings people together. In the case of those who cannot spend such times of the year with the people they love, wouldn't that only make it that much more joyous when they finally are able to? I'm fully aware that I cannot speak for said people, but it's just a thought.
