I'm not a fan of it or the month of December either even if my birthday is within it...
This year i have brought no cards, presents and am working Christmas eve, day and Boxing day and if i could work 16 hour shifts to avoid it completely i would be alas im stuck with working 8-5 then having to go home which i really do not want to do....
I feel pretty bad for not getting anyone anything but with £800 of parts or buying a new bike by mid January im kinda screwed..... so im clutching at straws as to what to do.
So yeah im a scrooge and all the rest of it but meh.... just one of those things that i have my reasons for disliking.

I've been limited to getting only things for my immediate family and saying sorry to everyone else that I would want to get items for maybe at some point in the future I can do something nice for them when I do have money. My other option would be to make something with stuff that is kicking about and hope that it is passable as a good present.
I wouldn't worry, I'm sure they understand :)
