Ok so this is the first part of my holiday trip wrap-up. All in all it was a really great trip, though I didn’t get to spend as much time with a few furs as I would have liked. I had a great time at FC, going to panels, watching furry game shows, and comedy acts. Though some of the funniest things where definitely not planned. I got to catch up with a few old friends that I hadn’t seen in a while and made plenty of new ones.
After finishing up at FC it was back up to Sacramento and boy did it rain for a few of those days. Anyway had a nice time celebrating the Birthdays of two of my best mates. I got to hang out with Whyte at his work for most of the day on the day I had to fly down to LA. That was a lot of fun, I think I managed to talk his boss into looking at a mining job down in WA. Anyway his boss and his other workmate were both great blokes, so fun was had by all.
After I got to LA and got settled at my hotel I met up with Waggs Wolf, Rainhopper Roo, and their other flatmate for dinner. The next day Waggs and I headed over to Disneyland and had a great time going on rides together. After that it was back to the hotel for a little bit before Waggs headed home and we both got some sleep. Went back to Disneyland the next day on my own for the morning and went on a few rides that we had missed out on the previous day.
After a morning of that it was off to a fur meet for a bit before heading off to LAX, Waggs drove, when he picked me up from the hotel he brought Snow, his Husky, she is absolutely gorgeous and she had the two bell attendants fawning over her. After a brief stop at the fur meet we drove down to LAX and I said good-bye to Waggs and went to wait for my stand-by flight. As luck would have it the flight was full and the next flight, after waiting another few hours was up to maximum weight.
So after being told that I would have to come back the next morning to try and get on the next flight. After a quick phone call to Waggs, I ended up back at their house and spent the night cuddling with wuff and snow (who at some point during the night decided my feet would make a good pillow and flopped). The next morning it was back to the airport and managed to get straight onto the flight without a wait. On the flight back to Singapore we took a slight planned detour to Tokyo with an hour layover before heading off to Singapore. I don’t remember much about that flight since I slept for most of it.
