Adios - and a reindeer question

Also, this came up in discussion: the gender of Santa's reindeer. When I was a little kid, I always assumed the poem recited them in boy-girl pairs. Depictions in cartoons aside. Although 'Prancer' sounds like a girlie name and it's a tough choice between Donder* (Thunder) and Blitzen (Lightning), so we'll say Prancer and Vixen are the gay does and Donder and Blitzen are the gay boys, righto?

Prancer was totally gay in my head. He and Vixen would go out and be snarky bitches and comment on other reindeer's coats, always laughing at Rudolph and such.
