I really hate Christmas Music

There's just something about it that I despise.

But to go into my extreme dislike...Christmas music is just hokey, cheesy and overplayed. No one actually buys into that "world peace/ Good will towards man" stuff. No one. Even as a kid I knew better. The Holidays is the time when the world's rudest people crawl out from under their rocks and grace us with their charming demeanor. I say this all as sarcastically as possible. It's stressful. So very stressful.
And as I'm wiggling through a crowd of screaming children at any given location I don't really care to hear some song from mid-190whatever about christmas is the best time of the year and everything is holly and jolly and covered in snow. Cause it's not.
I love the actual Christmas day, but I hate the music to no end.

It's dramatic commercialization at best. I was shopping in Kroger about a week ago when all of a sudden Britney Spears "...Baby One More Time" suddenly started playing. So fucking refreshing. A break from the music and a public throwback to the 90's that put a smile on my face.
