Xmas Update II

So! Christmas is over for another year!
The day was ok, presents were great and the food was yummy.
We took my Grandparents to the Airport the day after Boxing Day and sent them on their way. There were a lot of disagreements whilst they were here and after they left with both family here and back in the UK. It's not been the most pleasant or enjoyable Christmas ^_^'
But I'm over it! Over trying to sort out or reason with adults and over getting stressed out because they can't act maturely!
So I've been a bit behind on everything! And I must apologise for letting my Tumblr get into such ... a state ... I've just found out that you can make different pages! So maybe I can shift all of the random stuff I find funny or cool onto a different page and leave my art on the main page!
I only found out a few days ago, though, that my parents have a scanner! I've been taking photos of my work on my phone like a mug! So hopefully I will be able to scan in my purty sketchbook I've been working in and show you all ^_^' (on Tumblr ... if anything is complete enough I'll post it here too!)
I've realised that if I work in a nice sketchbook I work harder ... to not waste the expensive book! So this particular sketchbook is A4 and hardback and cost me $20 (with a lovely discount ... I think it was originally closer to $30)! And guess what? I really think I've been drawing better!
And there's a whole bunch of paper left over from when my parents owned and ran a copy/print/design business ... and Dad gave me this really lovely paper to draw on >u<
Apparently I can have as much paper as I like and I really can't wait to get my lightbox home (a friend of the family gave it to me when he moved/divorced)! AND my parents said that I can have their binders, binding, laminator and laminating sheets :D
We'll just have to work out how to get it back home :P
Right now my cat ... is sitting ... watching me ... she's so adorable!!!! <3
It's the 29th today ... I can't wait until the 10th January! Which is when I'll be flying down south to spend some time with
kuurifuyutsuki and his family :D I will miss my little kitty, but she's in good hands here with my parents! (Better than the possibility of getting eaten by his family's dogs :P)
Right now I'm re-scripting a comic commission from a turn based RP story, planning out the pages, sketching the pages ... it's more work than I thought ^_^' And I'm also trying to design myself a new logo/watermark AND get my site up and running with a resume and portfolio ... but at least I'm keeping occupied!
So not much else to say really! Having a little bit of a hard time back at my parent's place but hey, that's life :P
Hope you all had a great Christmas! I didn't even think of finishing that Pokemon Christmas sketch I did a while ago! ... maybe I should do that to be festive! Better late than never! Though I did draw something rather beautiful, if I do say so myself, and very festive for a good friend of mine ;)
