Hey all!
This holiday season has been quite a whirlwind for all involved I think we can all agree on that. I have been trying to balance personal art with commissions. I realized a while ago that I was getting really commission heavy and thus not wanting to do as much art. So that needed to be solved.
Today is my last day at REI. In fact, when I clock out at 2PM, my new job will start. Serving you all 8 hours a day for at least the next two weeks. Yes, you read that right. I will be doing commissions solid for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. That includes planned streams, more than likely early evening probably starting around 4PM West Coast US time.
I have a few commissions to finish up that are already in the cue. I already have Rein’s sketched out, just need to get that delicious piece completed. The next will be Renix’s set of commissions that he has lined up. However, in the process of being fair, there will be commissionable streaming hours in between. This also allows me to not get burned out on projects that I will be working on.
My questions to you my lovely artistic followers is this:
-What do you want to see from me?
--More adoptables?
--More sponsorable streaming hours?
--More commission slots in general?

--As the artist I reserve the right to refuse to draw any subject matter, and or charge more if I feel uncomfortable drawing it.

-a detailed description of what you wish to have drawn, character sheets if available, any and all information and references you wish to have used.
-youre paypal email that you will be using

((deposits will be discussed via Email before art is started. Will generally be half of the total, except for larger orders which will be done in instalments or the total price of the piece depending on what can be put down in the begining.))

Though it isn't a necessity on your part at all, I'd love to see tutorials or instructions on how to start doing good sketching in your style! Or at least get some of the background behind your own creativity! I suppose you could call that drawing lessons. X3
I think what I meant when I wrote 'background to creativity' is if you're using references or thinking about something in particular or using a set of rules/guidelines when you start to draw. When I start to draw something I'm always like: "Big circle then small circle--no, circle, not oval. CIRCLE. Yes, better. Now connect these two with a line--no, no, no, no! LINE, not squiggle! Yes, good. Now these are supposed to be the shoulders but these means the character's sloped this way, so... move up? No, now it looks like he's shrugging. Grrr, what am I looking for?!"
