i like normal art

So do I. And it's sad when a picture of vaporeon peeing on mudkip that took me 10 minutes gets more comments and favorites than something I spent several hours or days on.

people run on libedo... can't say i'm much better at times, but at least i can take time and appreciate ACTUAL art

It's not like I really comment on normal art more than adult, but I don't really comment at all, so meh. It's just like...an artist is more than just fap material and I'd rather be liked because I spend time on my work, not because I draw things with genitals.

my approach is to watch people, try to get to know them/make friends and then they watch you
you get a watcher... a friend... and valuable input for your art

what an interesting idea. hmmm... if you don't mind, i might do something like this of my own. I hate not getting comments on work, especially things i've put a lot of effort into, i'm sure you feel the same. obviousely. that's why you wrote the journal right? well, i hope you get usefull comments and not just a but load of 2 word comments. 'so cute' 'nice work' and what not.

I'm afraid this is the way of the world, sweety. I have a gaggle of artist friends who feel the same way. I wish you all the luck in this... but seeing as I'm a super heavy comment maker, I might, despite what I said on said porn, not root around as much as I normally do. Not because I don't believe your normal work should get love, but I think it should get love from more honest sources, and I don’t want to artificially inflate the tally. (ask anyone - I’ll comment on anything) But I think that hostaging your porn is going to make for some very half-hearted comments in attempts to just get you to do what you do not want. I’d really suggest you just put time and effort into everything you do, porn included, and only do it for yourself. The response you get from other people should be either make you better as an artist or make you feel better as an artist. It shouldn’t be a slop of pigs going “Oink oink (fap fa) can ya do more pOrn?” That's really just making commitments that you might not want to carry out.
