Well... about a month ago I got an email from an old boss (2 years ago xD) and he just said that he's looking to build a new support team. Would I be interested in working with him again? Right?

Well~ I figured: Working with him again would be awesome! He's a fun guy. But: where I was right now was pretty damn secure, had good pay and the guys there weren't too bad either. But I figure what the hell - I'll check in and ask about it.

Today we met up at a pub, had a drink and chatted. Job sounded pretty damn good, but the fact that it was on the other side of the city and that it wasn't good enough to move just based on the activities involved made me decide not to take it.

Then he pulled out the big one. My pay? He's gonna match what I'm currently earning + 40% increase.

Needless to say: I gagged on my drink and wanted to sign the contract there and then!

However, before I do that: I need to tell my current employer I want to leave by late-march ~_~ which is gonna be a shit since he just paid 6 grand for specialised training. Hope it doesn't make me a greedy s.o.b but when you're looking to buy a house within a year and payrise of this magnitude will really help secure that 3 bedroom cottage instead of a 1 bedroom apartment x3
