Basic well wishes/ Do's and Don'ts of Essy RP

Hey there all! Been a bit, I know, so belated merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! I hope you all got what you wanted, if not physically than spiritually.
Commissions come well. Had a maajor stale point there but I'm working hard on them and they're coming well. ^^
Mnn, not much else to say, so I think I'm going to post here what I should have looong ago, some basic things to remember about Essy when you're going to ask the ever common "do you rp?" or whatnot. Hope none offend anyone, just putting them out for all to see.
Do's and Don'ts of Essy
1. I'm a SWITCH with SUBMISSIVE leanings.
This is crucial. Most go into it with a list of things they want done to them. >> Hey, woah, woah, I'm not a hard core dom. I can but it's not like I push a button and "Ok, I tentacle you now!" ^^; I need to get in a proper mood, and they don't just come when I call, please respect this.
2. Lil Experience please?
I don't mind a character to be shy about things. But please, I put some effort into my posts so you get satisfaction, please remember I'm not some chat bot and would like to get some myself. I'm not saying full on super quad paragraphs, but few sentences with punctuation would be preferred.
3. Don't keep asking
Nothing kills my mood faster than being bugged to do something. So, really, once works, I'll record it or remember. I take some time to plan a good scene so it probably won't be then and there, special circumstances may apply.

...just because you spatter pleases and thank yous, a little casual conversation doesn't mean I don't know you're still pestering. ;>> The more you ask the longer it'll probably take to happen...sorry, that's just how I go. ^^;
5. More than one word.
See lil experience please. It is my belief, as is of many others following the BDSM lifestyle, that the sub and the dom work together for the pleasure of one another- i.e. if someone puts in 100% domming, the sub has a great time, and the dom depends on the sub putting in their all to get their pleasure in return. I like to have fun too, so don't expect one word rps to go anywhere with planty.
6. Friends, not resource.
I'm not a chat bot, as we established, and though I do love playing the toy, I'm not a tool, there is a difference as one is treated well and cared for properly, one is left sitting around, used, then put back aside. Before we play, I want to be sure there's a genuine interest in friendship here, call me greedy on this but I don't like to be shallow about it. I don't keep "fuck buddies", but I do have some "friends with benefits" OL. ^^#
7. Be interesting.
I once had an owner who coined the term Generic Furs to me. What he meant was any species that's by default done by most entering the furry community. You know which are, they're everywhere. I'm not one. I'm one of three or four who use my species as their main avatar/character. Nothing sparks my drive like a partner who makes me want to learn more about them!
In other words, I don't mind if you're just some generic furry, everyone needs to start somewhere after all, so long as you have the interest factor on your side, some hook or catch that draws me in. Nothing wrong with being one of them, unless you never try to put any interest behind your representative character I say.
Finally. I am a Plant.
Deal with it. You'd not believe how many times in the furry community I'm remarked to "Well, you're a plant and that's just weird" or "That's not sexy, I'm only doing it because you like [x fetish]." >>
Sorry folks, but I'm green, have chlorophyll flowing through my veins, and require an ample amount of sun light, water, and love. That's how I rustle.

However, having just woke up, I am unlikely to convey the sarcasm and humor I hope to display, so I'll stay the course and avoid leaping into the deep end.
To business. You run into the same situations I do, and I don't even RP like you do, in that our designs are, for lack of wording, unique. Yours is a plant, mine is really an alchemically created hybrid. Neither are the God forsaken fox/wolf/dragon lust creatures that people seem to just automatically gravitate torwards for the simple fact of satisfying their primal urges. It's an honest pity that creativity is seemingly shunned in favor of the some old safety net of cookie cutter creatures. Feh.
In addition, a lot of what you listed is WHY I don't RP anymore with random strangers whom I never met. It also comes to having a ten year glorious RP suddenly cut short by my fiancee's death, but that's just one facet of the issue. People appear to just want to get their rocks off, and never both attempting to put even the smallest bit of effort to make things at least entertaining. It's just moan, squeeze, insert, hump, done, rinse repeat.
Pity I don't RP anymore though lad. I'm a switch myself, but I can lean either way without issue. While I enjoy being submissive, I'm also a very careful dom, and if it turns into a point that even in fantasy, someone could end up injured severely, it's not going to happen. The sub may be in control of the session, but it's still my job to make sure they're safe despite their wishes to be spanked so hard, they turn black and blue.
But I am glad you seem to appreciate the whole dom-sub relationship like I do. It's crucial and a fact most forget, just jumping in and even forgetting the crucial coming down afterwards. ;>> Yah, sometimes it does seem like the whole "getting one's rocks off" when you get a random IM. ><;
Pity you don't RP indeed, you have an understanding of this all I rather like. And fun character too. ^~
