Got distracted last week, forgot to do this little ritual. Better late than never, it's not like 2011 is any less in the past now, right?
Anyway, in 2010, I completely failed to get a story out in two out of the twelve months, and several of the others were technicalities, like finishing a story in the wee hours of the 1st of the month. Let's see if I did better in 2011, shall we?
January
His Big Little Bitch: Although this story didn't make it to Fur Affinity until November, I wrote it in January and kept it offline while it was judged for submission in an actual print entry. It's about a pair of half-brothers who enjoy getting up to red-bordered antics, though they might be enjoying it more than they let on...
February
Only The Penitant Man Will Pass: A rather different story to the ones I usually post, this one concerns a rather unstable man named Penance, and what he plans to do to those who have wronged others. Part of a much, much larger story I have yet to put to paper.
March
Empty: A short story about a raccoon who wakes up with blue balls when he's interrupted in the middle of a sexy dream, and has to take matters into his own hands. Prequel to June's entry, though no one seemed to notice. n_n
April
FAIL: I didn't manage to submit anything at all to FA during that month. Shame on me. u_u;
May
Stress Relief: An Eric and Milo Short: The first short in my series about brotherly incest, this one is a simple tale where Eric takes it upon himself to help his little brother feel better after having a crappy day.
June
The More Things Change: A bit of a departure for me, this one was about our lonely raccoon friend realizing that the answer to his problems might be closer at hand than he realized. It was also an excuse for me to write about pegging! n_n
June was also the only month of 2011 where I submitted more than one story; the other one was John and Kee: Early to Rise, a smutty short about a pair of fox brothers named John and Kieran, and their somewhat unorthodox (read: sexy) morning ritual.
July
FAIL: The only things I posted to the site in July were a picture of an old friend of mine in scraps, and a copy of
Beeboi's magnificent picture of Dave and Kelly, "Love is Love". But hey, any opportunity to tell people to go tell my friends they're awesome is a good one, so go and do that, kay? :3
August
Dave and Kelly: Truth Hurts: Incredibly, the only entry in this series last year, and it was even clean! Still, I'm told it's a good read anyway, as Kelly confronts Dave with her fears about the future and the way the world might react to their relationship.
September
FAIL: Nothing to see here, move along, move along.
October
John and Kee: The Swimsuit Edition: The second story about these two naughty vulpines, this smutty short sees John and Kieran teasing and playing with each other, and the idea of getting caught, in their backyard hot tub.
November
FAIL: As previously noted, I posted His Big Little Bitch to the site in this month, but since it had been finished for almost a year, and I already counted it for January, including it on the list again would be very childish of me. u_u
December
FAIL: And I finished the year the way it began, by not posting any stories to Fur Affinity. Whoops! XD
At least I got to post this awesome picture of Vincent, which was of course drawn by the charitable and kind-hearted
Jacethearcticwolf.
So there you have it, five different FAILs without even technicalities to cover them. Ouch. Still, I knew that if 2010 was a rough year, 2011 was a terrible one, at least in terms of writing. Ah well, I've already got a story posted for January, so 2012 is off to a good start. Here's hoping that this time next year, I can hold my head high as I write a journal with fewer blank listings. n_n *knocks on wood*
ANNUAL RITUAL OVER.
EDIT: Time continues to pass, and now you can find out how I did in 2012 by clicking this link!

Muses may be fickle creatures, but they affect all with the creative spark. Any with that experience and a kind heart can surely sympathize with your plight. The kinder might even share theirs.
