OKAY FINE HERE'S MY CALIFURNICATION REPORT

i don't typically go to cons, but this was so much fun i may have to start.

 hyenapawz and i left new year's eve morning for  codyvfrost's place in california. due to spirit air sucking hosewater, and a layover in vegas, we didn't get in until 3:00 p.m., where Vince and his mate Devon met us at LAX. Devon is tall. Like, substantially tall. Tall and handsome, and, like, TALL.

Also LAX is a shithole.

Anyway, the weather was unbelievably gorgeous, and Vince has a really nice place with lots of room and a spare bed like a fucking luxury hotel (actually, NICER than a luxury hotel), but the main highlights were:

* meeting  SpotGideon. Hyena? Yes. Requisite amount of adorable? Absolutely. Hilarious? Is he ever. I was in stitches in minutes. Why am I asking myself questions? Sleep deprivation. Also: he's buff as hell.

* meeting  TremorWolf As hot as you think he is from pictures, he's hotter in person. Even his car is hot. As a person who hates Volkswagens with a fiery burning passion, I have to admit: the sleek black machine looks DAMN GOOD with Tremor stepping out of it. I kind of wanted him to drag me off for some dirty garage sex. And I dislike VW with almost the same feverish intensity that I dislike GM, so this should tell you a lot about Mr. Kittywuff. He is unbelievably sweet and astonishingly well-spoken for someone with 18" biceps.

* meeting  Areitu Another high-functioning furry I wish I had met years ago, or roomed with in college or something. Just hilarious. Knows more about cars than any other person I have ever met. Walking around Peterson auto museum with him was like walking around with a robot tour guide...thing. a SEXY ASIAN robot tour guide. i wanted to stuff him in my pocket and take him home. <3

* seeing  CodyVFrost and his muscles again. wait delete the part about the musc-

EVENTS TIME IS NOW:

* DISNEYLAND. Oh my dog, the children.  HyenaPawz didn't kill anyone. HE GETS A GOLD STAR. <3 The Christmas decorations were up and I had an absolutely moronic amount of fun. Our boat on the Small World ride got rear-ended and tipped over at a crazy angle...I'm kind of disappointed we didn't sink, but it was still the greatest adventure of my life.

* Peterson Auto Museum.  Areitu thought of this one. Saw a lot of VERY rare cars. Also the Batmobile. SERIOUSLY THE FREAKING BATMOBILE. It was awesome. if you go, I highly recommend bringing  Areitu, even if he makes you carry a burger in your backpack for 4 hours.

* The Science Centers at Expo (or something).  SpotGideon and  tremorwolf learned that the Gemini astronauts (including the monkey) had more room in their first-gen landers than they had in the 3rd row of the Acura MDX Vince was driving. I OFFERED TO SWITCH SEATS FURBALLS. Anyway, we learned about ecosystems and  SpotGideon and  hyenaPawz were both very careful to not try to chew on any of the exhibits.

* SWANKY RESTAURANT. A friend of mine moved to L.A. several years ago, and is now a casting director for CBS. Her husband is the Sous Chef at a very trendy restaurant in West Hollywood. Trem, Jamie, Chris and I had a $500 dinner with them in a private room (it was the wine cellar room, lit only by candlelight) and WOOOOOOW that is all. Never had a cheese plate before. Now I think I'm addicted. Ate an absolutely unbelievable amount of food.

* THERE. WAS. SO. MUCH. TRAFFFICCCCCCCCCC AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

anyway,  CodyVFrost is a saint for picking us up, driving us around, and letting us intrude on quality time with his boyfriend (who is a real sweetie), and this was the best vacation I've taken in probably.....uh....maybe ever?

i'm sure i'm forgetting something; i'll add it later. our plane didn't get in till 7:00 IN THE MORNING on sunday, and i had an event at my mom's at like 2, so we're both exhausted. is it friday yet? lol.
