weighing the odds on furry fiesta

i'm trying to decide if i can go or not.
it'll cost like 200$ per person (alf wants to come to) to get down there and back, as well as in. and that doesn't count food.
my current feelings are if i can make what i need for the month (which is something i'm not sure if i can do or not) and then start making extra, i can go.
home bills take priority first, though. i have electric, phone and mortgage still to worry about plus my monthly credit card payment. so. we'll see.
i dunno, hope i can make it. i haven't been to a con in a long, long time. and never been to a furry con :B

R.F. is medium-sized and held in a hotel. If you get a room there, you can escape quickly when overload sets in.
Small enough to be friendly, large enough to have interesting panels, guests, and merchandise.
Much of the hotel function space is actually on the 'basement' level, so there's large areas with limited line of sight but still very large hallways and the like. So it's very easy to consciously 'know' it's a large con but outside of some areas it feels much more like a con of about 700 people, not 2700. :)
... actually, that makes sense, cause i live in it, hmmm...
