Commission info updated and a note on commissions in general
14 years ago
As the title says, I revised a few things in my commission info, which can be found here: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/2995284/ . It doesn't apply to the people who have already paid me and have art in the works, but it's something that will pertain from here on out to future commissioners, which are still OPEN at this time :3
This isn't aimed at any one person in particular. It's just I've gotten a few snarky comments in regards to my prices, and I find it extremely rude. I know plenty of other artists have made journals about this very subject, but it's my turn now too. Remember guys that when I open up for commissions, it's usually during a time when I'm between jobs and is my only source of actual income at that moment in time. Therefore, this is MY JOB. The prices I come up with are prices that I consider to me MORE then fair (my husband actually argues that I'm under charging people) for my level of artistic talent and time. I may not be some big name artist, but I DO put a LOT of TIME AND EFFORT into the work I do to ensure you're getting what you paid for. I greatly appreciate each and everyone of you who choose to commission me, but please respect my prices and what I quote you in the future.

Haters gonna hate, after all. 8P
After all there is no shortage of people willing to pay those prices. >:3
There are some people like that; who feel the need to make their comments known about what the feel about the value of a person's art, whether or not they're intending on buying any, or even of it's that of a friend's purchase~ I've had people comment to me, things like, 'How can you pay [x-person] that much money for that?' or 'What's up with that anatomy, how can you let them roll out like that?' or even offering to get a commission done with someone, for free for them, and have them decline because 'the artist is overpriced/underskilled/overhyped/etc.' Some people are just snobby ass cunts who seem to feel that their opinion is worth more than your enjoyment~
Clearly if the price was too high, no one would pay it; if people are paying it, then the price is right. l3
