NaNo Novel: Here Falls The Thunder
I just recently reacquired a love for an old anime that I watched as a kid...and it might surprise some of you:
Sailor Moon.
That's right, I use to watch Sailor Moon as a kid, on Toonami, back when the only things on were Thunder Cats, Ronin Warriors, Dragonball Z, and Reboot (though I loathe to call Reboot an anime :P)
After some mindless scanning of Youtube, I came across the coolest scene from the last arc of SM, SM: Stars. I remember as a child having to use the internet to watch that arc, because it wasn't allowed in the US. It involves one of the show's most badass fights, Starlights versus Sailor Galaxia.

Seriously, badass music, plus combined attacks, culminating in the first of only TWO successful attacks against the bad guy, both of which occur only during this fight. Seriously, in that last battle, people died left and right, and shit kept blowing up.
Then, I found what has to be best remaking of that last fight, in what I would consider one of the best ways to do that final battle:

It starts around 1:25, and ends around 5:15. Yeah, almost 4 straight minutes of one of the coolest looking sequences ever put together. This is definitely one way the episode could've gone.
I admit, saying how much I <3'ed this show might make me seem seriously gay, but damn, back in the day it was the best shit on, and I won't deny how much ass it kicked. I still love it.

Granted I kinda stopped watching after the third season as it started to fall apart for me, but it was still something I used to love watching.

As for Reboot...eh, it never caught my attention really.
It's too much of a drama to me, and why the fuck do a circle appear with all the planets symbols whereas the outer Senshi don't appear in it?
Nice to see once, the idea was good, but the scenes of fight could have been better thought... :S
As for the circle, it's believed to symbolize the tie between the Inner Senshi, Mercury through Mars, and seperator of the Outer Senshi. Much in the fashion the Astroid Belt sperates the Outter and Inner planets.
And it's not only about graphics, the atmosphere is not Sailor Moon enough to me ^^
I still watch the episodes nowadays XD
Though I don't agree with you, this video is only an accumulation of almost all the attacks, it's boring...
And know what? I had to wait until I have the internet to watch Sailor Stars, cause all of these episodes were censored in French XD
Hence why she almost NEVER appears. She has the potential to pull a \"rocks fall everyone dies!\" moment.
And yeah it would have been great if they all attacked, but not one after another still :S
