Typically Delta is terrible and Southwest is the best.

When I had a suit I used the Rubbermaid tote boxes, on a flight though I don't know what the size restrictions are. I had a friend that would pack everything in his suit case and take his head with his carry-on. I'm sure TSA loved him though.

From what I've seen around on Kayak, the cheaper airlines tend to make up the fact that their flight is cheaper by charging you retarded prices for baggage. Southwest doesn't charge for baggage, but they're more expensive upfront, but their flights are PREEEETTY nice.

I hope i can get a southwest flight, but I got to see what my local airport does (i think all it has is a puddle jumper or so)

Echoing the above: I took Southwest 3 times this winter break, and all 3 times it was a pretty pleasant experience. The flight attendants were genial and accommodating, and I believe that Southwest has a VERY good safety track record. The only issue is that their flights are almost always full, and you still have to deal with security. As for bags, I believe any suitcase under 60 pounds you can check for free (but I'd check on that), and then you're allowed one large carry-on (a large backpack or a small suitcase) and one "personal item" (a medium sized purse, or one of those cheap drawstring bags).

Even the smaller planes have complimentary satellite radio and television. I get bored easily.

If you're going a long distance it won't much matter though.

I have flight with Delta and have been a nice experience... maybe the 25 bucks for check in luggage is too much, but i always travel just with a backpack no matter the distance. If you carry a big box with your suit, maybe you will need pay the extra.

well, as long as it get there, safely and not damaged, then i am happy with it.

Avoid US Airways like the damn plague. They have a really bad track record of "Customer Service". I recommend Southwest or American Airlines.
