The following content may or may not contain floof, you have been warned! (Since I've gotten the request I thought it best to get that journal of the front page to avoid too much confusion)
Why is Total War: Shogun 2 so damn addictive and hard to stop playing once you start >:(
It's strange really... I used to find the first Shogun game fun yet I wasn't into it enough to really learn how to play. Then I tried the other Total War games (Medieval, Rome) and found them TERRIBLY boring, so boring I had to caps terribly.
Then I found Shogun 2 practically for free (about $3) in a store that doesn't really know anything about games a couple of months back. Got home and activated it on Steam, installed it, played about two turns on the tutourial and quit due to some friends wanting to play another game. Then I didn't play it again until the week after Christmas and since then it's haunting me xD
I would never want to play it multiplayer head to head or basically at all with other players against me, but I have played co-op campaign with a friend and that was decent I guess, if a bit slow.
In any case I find myself drawn to this game constantly and as soon as I start it up I'm hooked for a few hours xD
But I've managed to put some restrictions on myself, I can play in the afternoon for a bit but around 7pm I have to quit and work on my requests (or commissions if I'm lucky enough to get any) I work best on my art in the evening/night anyways =P
I just thought I'd share this since I rarely have much to say in my journals xD

can't... stop... playing...
