here's a story. a couple weeks ago my mate n I were wheelin on some hairy forest roads. we were having a good time crawling through the obstacles and twisting through the canyons. after a few hours and about 10 miles, the gps said we were approaching an outlet to the highway, and we figured that would be our ticket outta there. We get within 500ft from the highway, and theres a fucking forest service gate...locked >.< ended up having to backtrack a ways and found an unmarked mystery road that fortunately got us out of there before the sun went down. So whats the moral of this story you say? if your wheelin in the forest, better bring some bolt cutters =P

Ha! Been there, I tried to short cut it though- I rammed it, but I wasn't going fast enough. The chain held and the bottom of my pushbars caught the gate x3 It took 3 tries to get the damn thing off lol. The next one I rammed with speed and *PING* right open :P

Damn, that blows :/

Blm land is the way to go, we go out past the 29 palms base on the North end of Joshua Tree to camp and blow shit up with no worries.
