The Shifty

Fluttershy finds a shapeshifting creature in the forest that at first takes on the forms of cute animals, making her want to keep the creature. Then the shifter takes on the form of Fluttershy, but with a distinctly more aggressive attitude. But it only changes into her when she is not around. Many of the Pony start to think FS is going bonkers, resulting in a showdown where we learn the shifter is now stuck as FS, matching her almost exactly.
Twilight investigates her books and discovers the shifty is a creature that will do everything in it's power to take the place of the Pony it's spent the most time with.
They have a Fluttershy Contest to prove who is the real Pony, with many different contests involving the care of animals and the woods. No one noticing that the Shiftyshy is cheating when she can, making the real FS fail most of the challenges.
The final challenge is getting a certain finicky bunny to eat his carrots. The real FS is unable no matter how much she pleads, as usual with this rabbit. The Shifty feeling more and more confident she has this in the bag tries as well, but is met with a carrot shoved in her mouth. The true nature of the Shiftyshy emerges when she explodes in anger at Angel, becoming a more feral and fanged form of Fluttershy.
Stepping between the bunny and the beast is Fluttershy.
"I tried to be nice through your pretend, but if you think I'm gonna let a faker like you hurt my Angel, you got another thing coming!"
Staring at her with a gaze that has cowed dragons the shifty POPs back into it's original form, yipping into the woods.
FS friends gather and celebrate the truth and how in the end a friends true nature shines through.
Later we see Rainbow Dash racing with a very familiar Pony. "This is sooo cool! I have the perfect practice partner!" The camera ends with Shifty Dash smiling at the camera with glowing eyes.
