I'm really glad to hear that! Yeah, one thing the UK is really -not- good for is the time zone if you have US friends. As it I tend to be on for an hour or two during my evenings, and that tends to be the only time I talk in real time to any of my American friends, as well as being the daily time that Zel and I get to catch up with Azakir and Tark. So it's quite busy and hard to keep up with people! More and more I'm finding that email seems like a more effective way to keep in touch with me. I miss ya lots!

Yay for snuggles! And yay for being thought of! Mm haven't seen Rob Roy, but yeah the countryside out here is really really beautiful. I love being in Aberdeen city, but I also love when we get outside the city to visit with Zel's parents or something, the countryside is so lovely. The weather spends a lot of time being grey and drizzly, but we get really pretty clear skies sometimes too and especially out in the country it's such a big, sweeping sky. Really beautiful. :)

Nah, it'll be April or so before the immigration stuff is at a point where I'm allowed to start looking. So in the meantime I'm working on getting chapters from my dissertation published, as well as more fun things like practising bass and relaxing a bit. I figure after six and a half years of doing a doctoral dissertation I deserve a chance to catch my breath a bit anyway!

But seriously, awesome bass and you should totally send me an audio track of any improv bass line you have done so that I can mess it up with some violin, viola, and possibly piano and guitar. I am not too keen on the latter of the 2 instruments but it is possible. Oh and if I am not lazy maybe some drums as well. Hmm, possibly vocals? Geeze! I am just digging myself into a big hole with all of this! So lets go down the list of stuff I will add, violin (yes), viola (yes), piano (maybe), guitar (maybe), drums (maybe), vocals (would be fun so probably).
