Odd, Yet Important Question

So I'm an RPer, and I had an...interesting question. If two characters are considered mates RP-wise, should they RP with each other, or is simply saying they're mates enough? Feel free to ask for more info, but some stuff I won't say. I just need help deciding something...Thanks.

Hmmm sounds interesting and tough, if your saying in oc if the characters are mates, you can always do silly canon things or you could ask the other how they feel about it. :3
