Yu Gi Oh! Sneak Peak Today

Well I saved up my money for this thing, but yet there wasn't really a whole lot I wanted from this set (namely the Dark Flattop). I decided to go anyway and maybe find some other cards I did not know about, duel a couple times, and maybe mingle with friends afterwards. When I got there, over 35 people showed up, was utter chaos outside. When we were finally let in, the store manager announced to everyone that not everyone would be able to get their packs THAT DAY because Konami, being the great business people as always, were unable to send the store the required amount of Sneak Peak Kits, which is 5 kits, they only got 1 kit, which was only enough for 20 people. So around half of the people there would get their packs and the remainder were promised to get their packs another time, but they were too impatient to wait, I even volunteered to wait on mine so that someone else could theirs, but it was too late. More than half of the people left in a heartbeat when they heard they couldn't get their packs there and then. As a result, there was enough packs to go around heh, odd how things can just workout.
I got the 3 Flattops I was after, hooray! Aside from those, I didn't get anything else of interest to me or my mate. I decided to stick around and see what other people were playing, but then I realized that these people are the dead-beat hardcore play to win generic bastards I have come to despise. Then low and behold, same decks everywhere, X-Saber, Twilight, and Six Sams. Those were the only decks there divided among 20 people, I couldn't stand the thought of dueling against these decks again, so I left and went home.
So all in all it was a decent sneak peak, I got what I wanted so I don't have to spend anymore money on this set unless I go after the Wind-Ups that Sevvy-pie wants. ^^
