should i feel bad for drawing vent art?

when i draw vent art i feel SOO relieved, but all my friends dont like it, it makes them worry , and phere doesnt like it, he literally hates it. Vent art makes me feel good, it has real emotion in it, it makes me feel better, but i dont know...i also feel bad for doing it at the same time.... what do you guys think?
also people keep asking these questions:
1. Are you and Phere still together?
Of course we are, i wouldnt leave him for the world, i literally went through hell and back to get him and keep him for as long as i have.
2. if you and phere are still together how come you havent draw phere and sagome in a while?
well firstly i dont have enough motivation to draw cute stuff as of late. And i just feel like im wasting my time when i draw them, i show phere and he just says "its nice myo." and thats it...doesnt take a second glance or comment on anything else....so i feel like i shouldnt draw them cause only im enjoying it when its also meant for him....

if you upload your vent art just mention in the description that everything is indeed ok. or you can just keep it to yourself. its a freedom of expression.
i see nothing wrong with this, if you feel better after it. if it makes you feel worse, then its a problem.
you said it helps you feel better, so do it. talk to phere, let him know its your way of coping with negative emotions. just make sure to let him know that it benefits you, and the others the same. nothing wrong with venting, hon :3
There's nothing wrong with ventart, but sometimes I do admit to getting annoyed by seeing it so often by certain people. I draw alot of it too, but I keep my personal problems away from the internet. No one wants to hear someone complain about their life problems all the time.
I vent out to some of my close friends over on yahoo when i'm feeling down, and they always do their best to cheer me up and make me feel better. That's what you should do. Do you want people online to know you as someone who whines and cries over things, letting everyone know how depressed you are? I know I wouldn't. I'd rather be known as a bubbly, cheery person.
But in the end, yes, it's your art and you are allowed to post whatever you want. I'm not here to tell you to quit it, but I do hope you take my suggestions into consideration
im actually the opposite o: i like seeing people do vent art just cause i personally like it, but i understand what you mean. But if people think im whiney in any way they could always not watch me, i try not to post it to often and havent been posting alot of the vent art ive been doin recently acutally.
but i guess i could make a seperate PB, hopefully i dont forget user name and stuff @w@
It's a really good way to just get out emotions you can't otherwise express.
People will worry, yeah, but that's just because they care.
And if someone doesn't like it, well, too bad.
You're doing something to make yourself feel better, to make yourself relieved happy, and they should accept and respect it.
Shoot, especially because of what you /could/ be doing instead to get things out.
I personally don't like any kind of emo stuff, whether it's vent art, a poem, a song, etc. But it's your art, and you're allowed to draw and post whatever the hell you want! :P I'm not gonna get mad at you for it or say anything mean, I just won't comment on it. xD
People have to have a way to vent out and relax. Mine is gaming :P
