I've been capturing monsters. How the hell am i gunna kill his original monsters? Like seriously, wtf? first off, they have like 200000 hp. Second, they kick my scrawny weasel ass with break limit attacks =C I got lucky on Straitovais because i finally pulled out Yojimbo with his 135 Evasion stat and 9999 damage for one gil. And that still took for fricken ever!
That weird Malboro with Putrid breath? That dark/confuse/poison combo is horrendous, and i can't block that confuse! And don't get me started on Earth Eater. He countered with 72935hp punches on every party member after one attack D':> WTF?!
These aren't even the worst ones...

It's a pain, but you need to max out your stats and you might want your ultimate equipment as well.
Hope you like dodging lightning 200 times in a row! :P
If you ever get the chance, watch NCS (NintendoCapriSun on YouTube) for his LP of FFX. He will show you how to get those things. Also, the race time is easier than you think. :)
My brother played it far too much, his auto haste double experience Rikku gets to attack three times, then another party member goes, then she attacks three more times, then the other party member goes, then she attacks three more times, then the monster attacks... at some point it gets a little sad. (Also she breaks the damage limit with every attack.)
The thing is that Rikku's ultimate weapon gives her 2x experience, so my brother actually completed the sphere grid with her, the game is now broken.

By the way, Tonberry is the bestest monster ever!
They are fantastic though in every game, hardest enemies ever.
There is more than one in FFX, be careful. lol
(PS IM MIGHT BE AN ANGORA FERRET AGAIN! :3, put it from a side Fursona back to a main. and move others to side fursonas :3. I was the first >:| angora.)
