Howdy All!

I'm tired as hellllllll!!! I really can't describe how much cons wipe me out BUT I will say that I had a blast.

FC 2012 was my third con EVER and the only repeat con I've been to (FC 2011 was my first) and it was at the new location, the SJ convention center with the Hilton and Marriot flanking the convention center.

I had such a great time. I only had a room at the Marriot for Friday and Saturday because I'm a local SJ resident who lives like ten minutes from the hotel. I managed to get there early Thursday after picking up a few pals from the hotel.

What can I say about a con that everyone hasn't heard all ready? I got to see old friends like  Linkin_monroe and  Tahoe and see a bunch of local people again outside of our usual haunts! It was really wonderful to just see everyone again.

We even managed to squeeze in a game of Battlestar Galactica. Cylon's won. Sorry. I was also a cylon.

My biggest gripe about the whole con was the sensation of being spread out. According to Twitter on Sunday the convention was near 3,000 attendees. While that is a lot, the whole thing just felt spread too thin. There needs to be a zoo or something that everyone can just go to mingle. Having to sit in a lobby to just run into people was hard, especially since the Hilton was so far off in the distance.

One of the biggest highlights was getting an INCREDIBLE sketch of Tiberius and Luther from Red Lantern by the incredibly talented  Rukis I'll post it soonish. :D It's really good and I'm such a bottom in the pick. But I don't care. It's Luther.

Also, being the authority on furries in newsboy caps, wtf FC2012! I saw newsboy hats EVERYWHERE. If they're coming back in style then yes, 'cause I want more. But I got told a lot that I started a furry trend. Guess that makes me hipster, I was wearing those hats before they were cool.

And yes, I also look like my fursona. =) hoodie, hat, and shorts! I did forget the orange undershirt but oh well.

Time to relax and get this con crud out of my system.
