AGAINST SOPA!

Welcome to the internet; where porn reigns supreme.
To whom it may concern.
While you may feel by attempting to control the users on the internet you are helping the rest of us out, in reality, you are doing more damage than you truly know.
We are not harboring information that will cause damage, illegal things that will harm ourselves, or anything of the sort. What we harbor, and share, is knowledge. Knowledge vital to the expanse of the human race, knowledge that can lead to advances outside of our own realm.
While you feel it is at best to censor us, as you would the media, blacking out our information streams and intellectual conversation on what is what and who may be going where, what we may be reading, or even what we may be doing.
The majority of us, the users, the intellectuals that scour the net for fun or self development, or even just that lonely contact that makes us feel better to talk to. We feel that you are encroaching yourselves upon territory that does not belong to you. By stepping on this land with your 'Law', your 'Government', you are enacting a war. A cyberwar. With an amassed populace that engulfs you. We, as a people, enjoy our activities.
While you have, in the past, governed our territory with your laws of man and your principals of justice. You are taking it too far--You, who are but men yourselves, have placed yourselves and your values higher than our own. You have made yourselves out to be bigger than you are.
This is our land, this is our territory, and it is our right to use it as we see fit to use it. We did not buy a product with a license agreement, we did not sign away our rights to the propaganda and media you so urgently whore out. No.
We are using a service already in place, a service that is not governed by one man alone.
You are starting a war that will cause many casualties to both sides, because you feel it is in your right place to do what you must because you Think it is the right thing to do.
No one man, no one machine, not one thing owns or propagates the internet. We are a people, a culture of our own right, and it should be we the users who decide how our land should be governed. The internet is built of machines and terminals set up world wide, not just nation wide. Our world expands outside the planet earth, to the satellites. To still decaying signals out in the stars. We are past your jurisdiction in our own rights, be it of the nation, or of the solar system itself.
We are a people. We stand strong. We stand united. Wage your war if you must, but remember--It comes with consequences, with losses. Not only to the value of human life, but to the advancements of our people. Without the internet, some of our inventors wouldn't of been inspired, some of our scientists wouldn't of had the ability to collaborate over long distances and perform research. Ordinary people wouldn't have as much tools to become positive growth to your world, your nation.
So think before you act, and consider that limiting our world is just the same as limiting your world. It is intellectual suicide.
As The Mentor had stated in their manifesto upon January 8, 1986. You may stop this individual, but you can't stop us all... after all, we're all alike.
That phrase now pertains to the vast majority of the interworld, the internet. Think on it.
- Jeremy Michael Changala, January 17th, 2012.<-- Belongs to him with credit. And spead the word around the internet.
We will never let SOPA and PIPA win! If they do they will ruin the internet and all of our favorite sites FOREVER! I oppose SOPA AND PIPA! Who's with me?
