New Thundercats

Is there anybody else who thinks that new series is just awesome? ^^
I know I'm probably the latest here who saw the new series. I think I haven't watched the show earlier, because I wasn't a big fan of the old series in the 80's. I saw only a few episodes. I remember that I didn't like the look and the style so much. (Now I think I was wrong)
Last week I saw a short clip of the new show http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=emW_fkyLUy8 and I was fascinated. I knew I will love it and watched all 13 episodes in two days.
The show is incredible. I love the storyline and the characters, every character has an own personality.
I like the new Tygra very much, I always thought Tygra in the old show was too bland. The relationship between Lion-O and Tygra is very interesting. They have a strong bond and love each other, but they often show sibling rivalries.
Can't wait for the next episodes.

1. The animation. It looks great! I love the new anime-esque style. Even though there is some CGI involved, it doesn't over do it.
2. The redesigns of the Thundercats. The Thundercats actually look like warriors and their faces are much more expressive. Again, this is due to the new animation. And (let's all be honest) they no longer look "gay. The Thundercats are no longer all muscley and wear leotards which might be a little outdated by today's standards. My favorite redesign has to be the ones they made to they made WilyKit and WilyKat. They were supposed to be younger in the 80's series but they still sounded like adults. In the newer series, they actually sound like kids and give them more development than just "they're there". Same with Tygra. All the characters got a major upgrade
3. SNARF DOESN'T TALK. Enough said. He's kind of like a pokemon, in that he acts like an animal but still has hyper intelligence. He still can't talk but he's cute. They still managed to keep him looking like he did in the old series which is cool o see
I really can't understand that some fans of the old series don't like the new one.
About 3: that Snarf doesn't talk, do you like it or regret it? I have to say that Snarf voice have annoyed me, so I'm not unhappy that he doen't talk.
As you said, "All the characters got a major upgrade".
Snarf wasn't THAT annoying most of the time but when he was, it was excruciating. It wasn't the voice so much as it was the way he said things.When watching a Thundercats episode, Snarf isn't too bad. But still, I have love for both Snarfs ^^
Agree with you about Tygra's outfit. Maybe he would get a new outfit in a second season.
The show was great, but I like the first half (first 13 eps) more than the second half.
I haven't bought the DVD yet, it's difficult to buy them in Germany, I have to wait for the European release.
