hey guys.
my mouse is behaving oddly D: so I can't do the art thing I want to be doing right now.
it's clicking itself and stuff! it's really annoying. first I'm running Norton to see if it's a virus because my nethabits bring those on a lot. lol... XD
but yeah, what should I do? :/

FA+

may have broke... it shake it a bit and if it clicks, that is it :3
Once my mouse stopped working at all so I did that and it is fine
Or if the mouse is wireless, sometimes local interference causes the clicks...
The way to handle both issues, is to fully shut down (not just restart) the computer, wait about 30 seconds, then start it back up.
The reason for the wait is to clear the RAM entirely, but anyway, when the computer restarts, whatever issue was there is typically wiped from memory, and also, wireless mice channels will reset. Probably will be a little quicker to at least start with just a restart like this.
it seems to be working okay now but I'll do that if it screws up again! thanksā
Mine's lazers though :<
i thought you meant the mouseball. LULZ
Mine did it without even touching anything, so I was sure it was the mouse-to-computer thing if it wasn't a virus
On top of all that, whats the motive? Other than to be a colossal pain in the ass their isnt any secure content that they can get a hold of by interfering with your mouse. Most viruses are attempts to access secure areas of your computer, spread other viruses, sell you some thing, or forcibly advertise something.
